Another interesting day on the water yesterday. Not a lot of wind, so I got a chance to get to know the boat in lowriding mode. There was just some 4 knots of about, with some gust. I got foiling 3 times in 3 hours of sailing, enough to clock a daily top speed of [...]

Just 19.8 knots today

No record breaking yet today. Winds were very light in the morning, so I used the low wind setting on the prodder. This helped a lot to flip the battens while tacking, making manouvres a lot easier. Flying only happened halfwind, , and after a while I started doing some upwind/downwinds to see if I [...]

My pics from Garda can be found at Flickr. Not so many, as I left my camera after the pasta dinner. Lucky I got it back some days later. But there’s many more people that took photos.
Also, I hope to lay my hands on 15 (!) digital video tapes that were made from the German [...]
First sail on home lake

After a long sleep I went to Gronau to rig the boat and get some first flying in on my home lake. It took me 4 hours to get everything back together (and explain to the sailors at the club what everything is .
It seems to be much easier to fly without the Garda [...]
Back home

Mission completed. Prowler home and paid for. Got home after a much too long drive through Germany. I wanted to drive back in one day. But I had just seen too much highway after 12 hours on the road, so I pitched my tent in Wetzlar (some 350 km’s from home).
The worlds was a great [...]
